Over the last 5 or 6 years I have bought a number of guitars from the Acoustic Centre in Melbourne. Whilst I have looked at Maton guitars in the shop I have tender to purchase Taylor or Martin guitars because I did not feel that the higher end Matons produced the full rich sort of sound that the American guitars did. I commented often to the staff at the Acoustic Centre that if I could find a Maton that was as good as the imports I would buy it because it was Australian made. Recently I was looking for a dreadnought and went to the Acoustic Centre and I saw the new Messiah EM100C model so I decided to try it out against similar Taylor and Martin priced models and I am very pleased to say that the Maton was the best. I liked it so much that I put it on lay-by and put my Martin 00 up for sale to help pay for it. I can’t wait to pick it up.
Thanks Maton. Your high end guitars are now truly world standard.
Cheers

I found Tommy Emmanuel thru a friend, and loved his stuff. Got @ 4 CD’s and want more. Would love to own a Maton Guitar. There is no finer instrument!
Someday I will buy one when I get enough money to cover it. Been playing all makes of guitars for over 50 years but never have I played a Maton!

Well the name says it all. Such a mellow and angelic sound produced by a classic instrument. Who could ask for more.
