It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of John Mortlock,
John joined Maton in 1958 and stayed with us for 34 years.
He learnt his craft in London at EMI as a wood machinist before emigrating to Australia.
He spent much of his time in the early days making Bills dreams come to life
and was taking factory tours right up until the present day.
Our thoughts are with his children Andrew, Susan, Linda, Wendy and his wife Maureen.
He will be sadly missed by every one at Maton Guitars,
