about the artist
Bryce Mullins
Bryce Mullins is an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist who combines the heart of classic rock with the precision of classical training. Raised on classic rock—from The Beatles to bands like Yes—Bryce developed a deep appreciation for both songwriting and instrumental prowess early on.
History
That foundation led him to earn a master’s degree in classical guitar performance, equipping him with the technical skills and musical depth that define his sound today. His songwriting moves effortlessly between country blues, Celtic ballads, and jazz harmonies all shaped by his wide-ranging influences and his reverence for songwriting.
A passionate advocate for acoustic excellence, Bryce performs and records with his Maton Artist and Messiah models—guitars he simply calls “the best.” He has released multiple albums of original instrumental music, including First Sip, Cask Strength, and his latest, Breakthrough. Based in the Midwest, Bryce regularly performs as a soloist and with bands, and has shared the stage with world-renowned guitarists like Clive Carroll, Christie Leneé, Gareth Pearson, Tony McManus, and Alberto Lombardi. Whether performing, recording, or teaching, Bryce brings a distinctive voice to the world of fingerstyle guitar—one rooted in the classics but always reaching forward.
