Blackwood Series
Most guitars pair a softwood top with hardwood back and sides. These are Blackwood throughout — soundboard, back and sides all cut from the same Australian timber. The result is a natural compression that blends the frequencies into a single voice: clear, bright trebles, a strong midrange and full bass, with an evenness that is difficult to get any other way. A Queensland Maple neck and streaky ebony fingerboard and bridge firm up the attack, while rope binding and a matching rope rosette finish the guitar in keeping with the timber.
The dreadnought body moves more air — a deeper, broader low end with the volume to carry a room — while the all-Blackwood construction keeps that bottom end tight. The cutaway opens up the higher frets. The AP5 PRO pickup system carries it to the stage. Natural satin, chrome Grover Rotomatics, in a Standard Maton Hard Case.
