Charles “Chucky T” Thompson plays the following Maton instruments

Chuck has played hundreds of shows with his trusted Maton guitars including just about every major festival you can think of (SoundWave, Big Day Out, The Falls Festival, Vans Warped etc) and with countless bands (including The Living End, No Doubt, NOFX, Jebediah, The Foo Fighters, Blink 182).

Chuck has used Maton guitars exclusively on all three Area 7 albums including "Bitter And Twisted", their debut album released in the year 2000 (gold status, ARIA nominated). You will have heard that familiar MS500 tone on radio songs like "Second Class Citizen", "Start Making Sense" and the novelty hit "Nobody Likes A Bogan".

Area 7 are still doing shows across the nation and you can also check out Chuck's other band The Outsiders."
