We cannot overstate the power and the punch of the BG808 Series. Within the smaller shape lies a mighty bass response and a focussed projection, ideally suited for the recording studio. Since 1978, the 808 series has stood the test of time and is now available in several different tonewood configurations.

 

The EBG808L has a soundboard of "AA" Select  Grade Solid Sitka Spruce, Queensland Walnut back and sides, and a Queensland Maple neck. The bridge is Rosewood, as is the fingerboard. The outer binding is ivory with a mosaic soundhole rosette.


This model is available as a left handed instrument.

 

The BG808L can be ordered with Maton's own AP5 pickup system.
